iLUX + iPC

SENSOR CONTROLLER SET FOR WEATHER-DEPENDENT LIGHTING CONTROL

Developed for use in street lighting and lighting in the vicinity of buildings, the sensor controller set consisting of the iLUX sensor and a specially matched iPC luminaire controller allows weather-dependent control of lighting systems on the basis of standardised powerline communication.

The large measuring range (0 to 64 kLux) and the measuring accuracy of the light sensor as well as the separation of the sensor from the communication unit lead to a high investment security and further savings potential.

DIMENSIONS

iPC-100-Lux with iLUX interface

The iPC-100-Lux luminaire controller is designed for pole built-in and equipped with an additional interface for connecting the iLUX sensor. The 10 m long cable between the pole controller and the light sensor is equipped with high-quality connectors on both sides.

The configurability of the applications and the optional firmware update offer a high investment protection for this controller-sensor set.

In the operation of a LON powerline network, the iLUX provides the measurement data directly in the form of SNVT_Lux.

In stand-alone operation, two relay contacts can be used to control the lighting according to set light limit switching values. Larger lighting systems can also be controlled via a downstream power contactor.

The threshold values that trigger the two relays to be switched on and off can be configured independently of each other.

LONMARK® PROFILE

In line with the mentioned ANSI or EN specifications, the controller is fitted with an interoperable network interface, which makes it possible to establish heterogeneous networks. The definition of the exact data structure for the data transfer is similar to the LonMark® definition. Since a light sensor profile for outdoor applications is not available, a profile is built according to the requirements based on the LonMark® guidelines that allows the control of interoperable light management systems. The iLUX, integrated in a light management network, provides data for this in the form of the SNVT_Lux and switches luminaires directly via the SNVT_ Switch according to the set threshold values.

Accessories iPL-NI – 200027

The powerline network interface iPL-NI is used when a subsequent parameterization of the iLUX must be carried out without operating it in a network. Data communication can be established between the notebook/PC and the iLUX using the 230 V AC power supply cable. The operating system of the notebook or PC needs to be XP to Win10. This tool is also suitable for updating the firmware of the controller.

TEXT FOR INVITATIONS TO TENDER

Powerline-capable pole built-in controller with light sensor for controlling luminaires in street lighting, lighting in proximity to buildings and industrial lighting using a non-switched mains cable or a control line. Data transfer is in accordance with ANSI (709.1, 709.2) or EN standards (14908-1, 14908-3). The controller communicates according to the LonMark® guidelines. In accordance with the LON philosophy and the LonMark® definition, the controller is fitted with the necessary applications for controlling, calculating the data and also the limit values. The bidirectional LON powerline communication is carried out according to CENELEC in compliance with EN 50065-1, primarily in C-band (125-140 kHz), secondarily in B-band (95-125 kHz). The pole built-in controller provides two switched outputs for switching luminaires up to 4 A in total on and off and for controlling a circuit breaker oder power switch. The switching points are pre-configured for 40 Lux and 20 Lux, but can be reconfigured at any time via an optional powerline interface and the associated software. Real-time clock, synchronizable. Interoperable software interface, use of network variables and configuration parameters according to LonMark®. In optional stand-alone operation, automatic control of the illuminants is performed directly or via a circuit breaker.
