In September 2020, LVX Global acquired Vossloh-Schwabe's Outdoor lighting management systems business through its Frankfurt-based subsidiary LVX Global (Deutschland) GmbH. With the acquisition, LVX Global has taken over global distribution of all network-capable narrowband powerline (NB-PLC) and high-definition powerline (HD-PLC) products. The product range includes luminaire controllers, edge-controllers with corresponding software, as well as sensors and accessories to control lighting systems efficiently and according to demand.
Under the new brand "iciti" you get well-testified technology with a future-proof perspective. Both conventional powerline communication and high-definition powerline communication for multimedia applications as well as wireless communication will be standard in the future.
With the acquisition of this product area, LVX strengthens its presence in the markets of Central Europe, Asia and the USA and complements the product portfolio with crucial software, hardware and firmware IP assets, which are essential for the activities in the field of Smart Buildings and Smart Cities.
